Pawsitively Pet Sitting

The following services are provided for you as a basic service for the standard fee of $17-22. This includes one 30-minute visit at your home.

Basic Pet Care

Feeding Pets

Hygiene (Litterbox, yard clean up, brushing)

Medication Administration

Walking dogs/ exercising dogs & cats with toys 

Lots of Love and Play! 

Basic Home Care

Bringing in newspaper and mail

Watering plants (inside or out)

Trash In/Out

Shades/Blinds rotated

Lights on/off

Other services may be provided upon request. 

SERVICE FEES

The standard service fee for the 30 minute visit is $17-22 for up to two pets within the designated 10 mile radius.  Our service area includes Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley, John's Island, Wadmalaw Island, James Island, North Charleston and Downtown peninsular.  The initial "Meet and Greet" is FREE.  You may be asked to pay for an initial "trial run" visit for "unusual situations".

Overnight Stay

$50/night for 2 pets. Additional $5/night for additional pets. We will be in your home at least between 10pm-6am.  If you need additional daily visits, regular fees apply.

Vacationer's Dog Walking

Leave your key and $25 at the desk of your pet-friendly hotel and we will come take your dog for a 30 minute walk/potty break while you enjoy Charleston!  You'll receive a short diary note about the stroll and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your pet gets a chance to see the sights as well!

Additional fees

$8.00/visit more for one-time visits.

$1.00/pet/visit for more than 2 pets (excludes fish and small caged animals)

$1.00/mile/visit for mileage more than 10 miles one way

$13.00/additional 30 minutes (for more time for walks, etc)

$6.00/visit additional on Holidays (New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, July 4th,  Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Day, New year's Eve)

$5.00/on-call fee.  If you don't know if you'll need a visit or not, we will be "on-call" for you for $5.  If we make the visit, the charge is the usual fee; if we do not make the visit, the charge will be $5.00 added to your next visit.

Key pickup and/or delivery: same as regular visit charge.

Some discounts may apply

$0.50 discount/visit  for Full time students (with current ID)

$0.50 discount/visit  for Senior Citizens (>70 years)

$0.50 discount/visit for Extended Services (8 or more days)

$1.00 discount/visit for continuous Regular Services (>1 month continuous) 

Last Minute Fee

If you call us with less than 2 days to prepare before you leave, we will charge you $17-22 for the Initial Meet and Greet visit, which normally is provided as a free service.  We need time to arrange pet sitters and the Initial Meet and Greet visit before caring for your pets.  Without adequate time, we may need to rearrange our schedules to accomodate your needs.  We hope you understand.

Cancellation Fee

If you cancel within 1/2 day of the time you were scheduled for a visit, you may be charged for that visit.  Our pet sitters have saved that time in their day especially for your pets.  In order to allow them the opportunity to adjust their daily schedule without your visit, it may take them some time and effort to rearrange things.  So please be considerate and remember that last minute changes may or may not be able to be accomodated, and may or may not be billed. Please let us know as soon as possible any changes you anticipate to your confirmed schedule.  Thanks! 

Additonal "Unexpected Time" Fee

Sometimes things come up that take up an unexpected amount of time for our pet sitters to handle.  We will be glad to accomodate these needs when we can, with the expectation that the additional time will be reimbursed.   Obviously, this would not include situations that we cause ourselves!  Pet illness, pet misbehavior (not coming back inside or going into crates), cleaning up unanticipated pet messes and "mistakes", and other activites may cause us to spend an undue amount of time in your home.  We plan to visit your home for 30 minutes at a time, unless otherwise specified in advance, and plan our daily schedules around this time.  Please understand that any necessary additional time will be billed to you upon your return. 

GRATUITY IS APPRECIATED FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!

 If you feel your pet-sitter did a super job, you may include a tip in your final check or credit card transaction, or you may leave cash/check just for them.  Any payment received that is over the "billed" amount will be forwarded in full to your pet-sitter, unless otherwise noted.  For any gratuity, you will receive a Thank You card from your pet sitter, acknowledging receipt of your appreciation and generosity!

Perhaps you can't think of a gift to give someone who has everything?  You can give them a Gift Certificate for Pet Sitting Visits.  Give us a call and we can work out a price for someone depending on their location for any number of visits you would like us to do!  They may really appreciate the opportunity to take a few days away knowing that their precious pet is well cared for!
